review of DON 2
If Ra One was disappointing, Shahrukh Khan compensates With DON2. Though the movie has dull and a weak script, yet the enigmatic presence of SRK fills the void. WIth Priyanka Chopra around, Don 2 promises aplenty.
It is slick and racy. farhan Akhtar may have disappointed you as a director, but SRK steps in to make it an engrossing affair. The film doesn't have any surprises, twists or turns. It is ends up as a predictable one. But the richness and glossy feel makes it count.

STORY:
Since it is a sequel, the movie begins from the climax of the first set. Don (SRK) is spotted in Thailand. He surrenders to cop Roma (Priyanka Chopra) and is sent to a Malaysian prison. He breaks the jail and manages to escape in a daredevil way with Vardhan ( Boman Irani).
They now hatch a plan to rob the Germans of their currency plates. There the Don makes smart moves. His mission begins and amidst all odds, does he succeed or not is the climax.
Shahrukh Khan scintillates. His screen presence is simply superb. he is at his best reminding the old days of Darr and Baazigar.
Priyanka is attractive and lets a solid performance.
Om Puri plays Vishal Malik, Chopra's boss at Interpol. Boman Irani as Vardhan is adequate for the role. But all said, its Shahruklh's charm that supercedes all.

ANALIYIS:
Music by Shankar-Ehashaan Loy is loud and bit Western at places. However the state-of-the-art technology used to capture the movie scintillates especially the chases. The movie may not have a plot as such or any emotions,. But director Farhan AKhtar should be happy that SRK magic sweeps all through. Must watch SRK's Don 2
