West Indies collapse as VIRU's detected....!!!

8th 2011, is the date which changed not only the form of Indian but also world cricket. And the only reason behind it was The Nawab of Najafgarh Virender Sehwag. The captain of the IPL team Delhi Daredevils, proved himself a true daredevil by hitting 219 runs in an One Day International (ODI) match, breaking the recoed of master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. Now Viru shares the mark of reaching 200 with the master blaster, but is the player with highest number of runs in an innings in ODI i.e. 219.
Virender Sehwag was utterly ruthless in his demolition of West Indies in Indore. He played from the first over till the 45th over and showed a splendid batting performance which is rarely seen. He scored 219 runs of just 149 balls, hitting 25 handsome boundaries and 7 huge sixes and with a strike rate of 146.9.
After the match when Viru came over to chat with Ravi Shastri, he said that he didnt dreamt of hitting a double century when the match started, he wanted to give team India a good start. But as the game progressed he just played so well that, the cricket ball almost seemed like a big football to him. A blistering knock led India to win the match easily. The West Indian pacers were dissapointed due to their bowling effort. Sachin was shocked when he heard that his record was broken but was happy as it was broken by his fellow teammate Virender Sehwag.

A blistering knock was shown by Viru which helped  India seal the series 4-1. We wish goodluck to Viru in his future and thank him for such awesome entertainment.
